Grow food (Pakistan) has made it of paramount importance to involve the local rural communities including men and women to achieve the main target of contributing in achieving objective of national food security and enhance fertility of arid lands in Pakistan. Without their active participation, these objectives cannot be fulfilled. For this purpose number of steps have been initiated to bring them under one umbrella with sole purpose of increasing their per hectare yield and to educate them to also focus upon live-stocks side by side to make maximum utilization of their small land holdings which will help bring prosperity in their lives which in turn will serve purpose of national goal of attaining food security. For this purpose at union council level the small land holders are usually asked to gather to discuss their individual experiences in agricultural field and to learn from each other’s experience for future planning in their fields. They are also conveyed on various mobile tools/Apps regarding international best practices and are urged to implement the same in each changing seasons.
